Directions to Silvercup Studios East Lot

Subway Directions

Take the #7(Flushing Line) train Queens-bound. Exit at the 33rd Street stop. Walk west along Queens Boulevard to Van Dam Street. Turn left on Van Dam and continue along Van Dam approximately two blocks beyond the Long Island Expressway. Turn right onto Starr Avenue and continue for one block. Entrance to Silvercup East will be on the left side of the street.

From Long Island/Eastern Queens

Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) West towards New York City. Get off at  the Van Dam Street exit, the last exit before the tolls for the Queens Midtown Tunnel.  Continue straight on the service road, cross Van Dam Street and make the first possible U-turn on the left at 30th Street.  Head east on the south service road to Starr Avenue.  Make a right onto Starr Avenue to 34-02.

From Manhattan

Midtown Tunnel
Take the Queens Midtown Tunnel and stay to the right. On exiting the tunnel you must use one of the three tollbooths on the right. Take the very first immediate right onto the Borden Avenue/Pulaski Bridge Exit # 13.  Make a left on Borden Avenue and go about one half mile to Starr Avenue.  Make a right at Starr to 34-02.

Queensboro 59th Street Bridge
Upper roadway.
As you cross the bridge bear left. At the fork take the left-hand exit. Turn left at the light at the end of the exit ramp onto Thomson Avenue. Proceed straight until you reach Van Dam Street. Turn right onto Van Dam and go about one half mile, Van Dam will pass under the Long Island Expressway. One block after the Expressway, make a soft right onto 34th Street, then straight into the lot at 34-02 Starr Avenue.
Lower roadway.
Follow the signs for Queens Boulevard. On the long overpass keep to the right. After about one half mile the road emerges from under the tracks. Make a soft right onto Van Dam Street. Drive about one half mile, Van Dam will pass under the Expressway. One block after the Expressway, make a soft right onto 34th Street, then straight into the lot at 34-02 Starr Avenue.

From Brooklyn

Take the BQE East toward the Triboro Bridge. Take exit 33/Humboldt St toward McGuinness Blvd north. Turn left at end of ramp, under the Expressway, follow McGuinness Blvd about one half mile to Greenpoint Ave. Turn Right onto Greenpoint Ave. Follow Greenpoint Ave about one half mile, over the drawbridge. Make a soft left onto Van Dam Street. After two blocks turn sharp left onto 34th Street, then straight into the lot at 34-02 Starr Avenue.

From Westchester

Either take the Triboro Bridge/FDR Drive combination south to the Queens Midtown Tunnel and follow the directions above from Manhattan or

Take the Triboro Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway west (towards Long Island) to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (I-278)(“BQE”).  Take the BQE to the Long Island Expressway (“LIE”) (I-495) west and continue on the LIE to the Van Dam Street exit and follow the directions above from Long Island.

From New Jersey

Take the Lincoln Tunnel cross-town to the Queens Midtown Tunnel and follow the directions above from Manhattan

From Silvercup Studios

Make a left coming out of the parking lot to the end of the block and make a right on 43rd Avenue.  Make the first left onto 21st Street and go about a mile to  49th Avenue.  Make a left on 49th Avenue and go to the first traffic light at 27th Street.  Make a right on 27th Street to Borden Avenue.  Make a left onto Borden and continue to Starr Avenue.  Make a right on Starr to 34-02.
