Win 2020 Golden Globe Awards
Empire State Development (ESD) tonight congratulated seven New York-based productions that won nine awards during the 2020 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The productions generated an estimated $285 million in New York spending and created over 13,300 hires across the state. The winning productions participated in the New York State Film Tax Credit Program. Launched in 2004, the program has incentivized more than $35 billion in economic investment across the state and continues to be the principal factor cited by productions when deciding to film and produce in New York.
